Working for a FMCG organisation the purpose of this role is to effectively and efficiently assist to deliver the companies interactive strategy, operating as an integrated member of the UK & Irish brand teams. You will contribute to this by helping to manage the creative and technical production of content and communications for UK&I websites and digital network, with a particular focus on their effectiveness as a brand-marketing tool. Working with the Interactive Manager, the Global Standards and Effectiveness Manager the UK&I commercial function and brand managers, to develop brand relationships with consumers through the development of direct e-communications strategies.
A key objective for this role will be to advise on the developing strategies of communication to the company consumer email database. It will require a good relationship with media and creative agencies to develop integrated email and social network communications plans to support brand and business objectives. Managing and supporting internal and external partners from brand planning stage through to implementation and evaluation.
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have: Experience of managing websites for an international consumer business. Proven ability to analyse data and turn into actionable insights. Ability to turn strategic requirements into actionable process. Ability to use and manage database tools. Able to operate with an awareness of the importance and impact that the sites have as communication tools. Good project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and budgets. A passion for digital media, new technologies and website developments and able to apply those insights to your work. Good business understanding, appreciating the competitive dynamics and aware of the key business risks in a consumer led environment. Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative, collaboratively as part of a team and work across functional borders and geographic boundaries, have excellent interpersonal skills Articulate, with an ability to negotiate and communicate well, both verbally and in written form, at all levels within the organisation. Able to think creatively, drive innovation & change, and encourage contribution within other departments and business units. Ideally a graduate or technically qualified.
