Successful integrated marketing service agency is looking for a Web Developer to join its team. The role will involve developing web sites, web applications, mobile applications and other digital products and contribute to ongoing support for a wide range of the agencies digital clients.

Key accountabilities will include: Web site development using CMS platform and other selected technologies, custom code development to deliver functionality required by clients, provide ongoing code support to all delivered products, contribute to agency’s collective digital expertise through own research, and adhere to the company’s policy, process and standards for all digital service delivery.


Core skills and required experience
• HTML/CSS to W3C standards
• Very strong PHP and MySQL skills
• Extensive experience of deployment and development with WordPress as CMS
• Strong experience of custom web development, database development and data
integrations
• Strong jQuery experience
• Web server management (LAMP stack)
• Source code/version management
• Demonstrable understanding of latest trends and developments in web and mobile
technology, including HTML5, CSS3 and cloud-based data hosting
• Strong grasp of core concepts of web usability, web standards compliance, web design and search engine optimisation.


Desirable additional skills and experience: Web design, Customer service/support, Collaborative working with other web developers and Onsite search engine optimisation.
